Memorial Day Picnic

After President Johnson proclaimed Memorial Day a national holiday, Adaline started the tradition of having yearly Fowler picnics on that day, by Sisseton Lake. Six generations have continued the tradition of gathering at the Salvania Park shelter house in Fairmont at noon on each Memorial Day.
